One-state solution
The one-state solution, also known as the binational solution, is a proposed approach to resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Though increasingly debated in academic circles, especially outside the United States, this approach remains outside the range of alternatives in official efforts to resolve the conflict as well as in mainstream analysis, where it is eclipsed by the two-state solution, most recently agreed upon in principle by the government of Israel and the Palestinian Authority at the November 2007 Annapolis Conference.

Dr. Abdel Aziz al-Rantissi () (October 23, 1947 Hamas with Sheikh Ahmed Yassin.Rantissi was Hamas's political leader and spokesman in the Gaza Strip following the Israeli assassination of Hamas spiritual leader Sheikh Ahmad Yassin in March 2004. Like most Hamas members, Rantissi opposed any compromise with Israel and called for the creation of a state of Palestine (including the whole of the State of Israel) through military exertion against the Jewish state.

Saeb Muhammad Salih Erekat (alsoPalestinian chief of the PLO Steering and Monitoring Committee. He negotiated the Oslo Accords with Israel and remained chief negotiator from 1995 until May 2003, when he resigned in protest from the Palestinian government. He later reconciled with the party and was re-appointed to the post in September 2003. He is currently part of the Israel-Fatah negotiations team working to establish a Palestinian state.

Khalil Ibrahim al-Wazir (), also known by his kunya "Abu Jihad" (Arabicأبو جهاد — father of the struggle) (October 10, 1935Palestinian military leader and founder of the secular political party Fatah. As a top aide of Palestine Liberation Organization Chairman, Yasser Arafat, al-Wazir had considerable influence in Fatah's military activities, eventually becoming the commander of Fatah's armed wing al-Assifa.
