Exploding toad
An exploding toad occurs when a crow, hunting for toad liver, attacks a toad which then puffs up as a natural defense. The phenomenon was first noticed in April 2005 in districts of Hamburg, Germany and near a lake at Låsby, Denmark, dubbed "The Pond of Death."

art intervention is an interaction with a previously existing artwork, audience or venue/space. It has the auspice of conceptual art and is commonly a form of performance art. It is associated with the Viennese Actionists, the Dada movement and Neo-Dadaists. It has also been made much use of by the Stuckists to affect perceptions of other artwork which they oppose, and as a protest against an existing intervention.

Katharina Rutschky
Katharina Rutschky (born January 25, 1941) is a German educationalist and author. She coined the term "Schwarze Pädagogik" (literally black pedagogy) in her eponymous book from 1977. The term was later translated to poisonous pedagogy by Alice Miller. Rutschky resides in Berlin.

Dieter Speer (February 24, 1942 – ) is a former German biathlete.He was the first German to hold the title when he became world champion in biathlon in 1971, beating the outstanding Alexander Tikhonov over 20 kilometres. Tikhonov could be said to be partly responsible for Speer's success, since the rifle was a gift from Tikhonov.
