Controversies about Opus Dei
Opus Dei is one of the most controversial movements within the Roman Catholic Church. While it is supported by various Popes and conservative Catholic leaders, many opponents allege it applies cult-like practices in recruitment. Others allege that Opus Dei has ultraconservative theology, practices misogyny, secrecy, and supports dictatorships.

Efraim Movement
Efraim Movement is a small sect in the Netherlands begun by Heinrich van Geene (born 1936) that emphasizes the Rapture. It began as an offshoot of Pentecostalism, but Van Geene declared God said he was the only Prophet left. There were also indications he felt the Rapture would begin in 2001 and be fulfilled in 2096 with the end of the world.

List of Unification Church affiliated organizations
Sun Myung Moon, the founder of the Unification Church. Commentators have mentioned Moon's belief in a literal Kingdom of Heaven on earth to be brought about by human effort as a motivation for his establishment of groups that are not strictly religious in their purposes. Others have said that one purpose of these groups is to pursue social respectability for the church. Together with the church and its members these organizations constitute the Unification Movement.
