Tag soup
In Web development, tag soup refers to formatted markup written for a Web page which is very much like HTML, but may not consist of correct HTML syntax and document structure. Because web browsers have historically treated HTML syntax or structural errors leniently, there has been little pressure for web developers to follow published standards, and therefore it is necessary that all browser implementations treat what looks like HTML as "tag soup", accepting and correcting for invalid syntax and structure.

XML Signature
XML Signature (also called XMLDsig, XML-DSig, XML-Sig) is a W3C recommendation that defines an XML syntax for digital signatures. Functionally, it has much in common with PKCS#7 but is more extensible and geared towards signing XML documents. It is used by various Web technologies such as SOAP, SAML, and others.XML signatures can be used to sign dataresource–type, typically XML documents, but anything that is accessible via a URL can be signed.

XML schema
An XML schema is a description of a type of XML document, typically expressed in terms of constraints on the structure and content of documents of that type, above and beyond the basic syntactical constraints imposed by XML itself. An XML schema provides a view of the document type at a relatively high level of abstraction. There are languages developed specifically to express XML schemas.

Rotation matrix
linear algebra, a rotation matrix is any matrix that acts as a rotation of Euclidean space. For example, the matrixrotates vectors in the plane by an angle of θ. In three dimensions, rotation matrices are among the simplest algebraic descriptions of rotations, and are used extensively for computations in geometry, physics, and computer graphics.

A permalink, or permanent link, is a URL that points to a specific blog or forum entry after it has passed from the front page to the archives. Because a permalink remains unchanged indefinitely, it is less susceptible to link rot. Most modern weblogging and content-syndication software systems support such links.

Internet Explorer box model bug
The Internet Explorer box model bug is a software bug in the implementation of Cascading Style Sheets in earlier versions of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer web browser for Microsoft Windows. Internet Explorer 6 and newer are not affected in their standards-compliant mode, but for compatibility reasons, the bug is still present when a page is rendered in "quirks mode". The bug does not affect Internet Explorer for Mac, though that browser was discontinued by Microsoft in 2006.

W3C recommendation
W3C Recommendation is the final stage of a ratification process of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) working group concerning the standard. This designation signifies that a document has been subjected to a public and W3C-member organization's review. It aims to standardise the Web technology. It is the equivalent of a published standard in many other industries.
