2006 Dublin riots
The 2006 Dublin riots were a series of riots which occurred in Dublin on 25 February 2006, precipitated by a controversial Unionist demonstration which was due to march down O'Connell Street in the city. The disturbances began when members of An Garda Síochána attempted to disperse a group of counter-demonstrators who were blocking the route of the proposed march on O'Connell Street. Some local youths joined forces with the counter-demonstrators, and the situation escalated.

Lucan Bridge () is a road bridge spanning the River Liffey in the town of Lucan in Dublin, Ireland. It joins Lucan's Main Street to the Lower Lucan Road, carrying traffic towards Clonsilla and the north. The bridge is the largest single span masonry arch bridge in Ireland, and is constructed from ashlar masonry with a span of 33 metres (110 feet) and a rise of 6.7 metres (22 feet). It is framed by iron balustraded parapets made by the Royal Phoenix ironworks of Parkgate Street in Dublin.

BASICODE
BASICODE was a computer project intended to create a unified standard for the BASIC programming language. BASIC was available on many popular home computers, but there were countless variants that were mostly incompatible with each other. The project was initiated in 1980 by the Netherlands broadcasting organisation Nederlandse Omroep Stichting (NOS).The basic implementation were architecture-specific utility applications that executed calls of subroutines for text, audio and sound defined in the BASICODE language standard according to the abilities of the computer in question.
