Seymour Itzkoff
Seymour W. Itzkoff (born 22 July, 1928) is an American professor known for his controversial research into intelligence.Born in Brooklyn, New York, Itzkoff, who is Jewish, earned a B.A. degree from the University of Hartford. While at school, he was a cellist with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra; he then joined the United States Army, and was a cellist in their symphony.

Moore Dry Dock Company was a ship repair and shipbuilding company in Oakland, California. It was started in San Francisco in 1905 as the Moore & Scott Iron Works, but was destroyed by fire in the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. It reopened soon and in 1909 purchased the Boole Shipyard in Oakland.

Samuel Adolphus Cartwright (November 3, 1793 - May 2, 1863) was a physician who practiced in Mississippi and Louisiana in the antebellum United States. During the American Civil War he joined the Confederate States of America and was assigned the responsibility of improving sanitary conditions in the camps about Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Port Hudson, Louisiana.

Archibald John Motley, Junior (October 7, 1891, New Orleans, Louisiana – January 16, 1981, Chicago, Illinois) was an African-American painter, and on occasion, sculptor. He studied painting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago during the 1910s, graduating in 1914. He is most famous for his colorful chronicling of the African-American experience during the 1920s and 1930s, and is considered one of the major contributors to the Harlem Renaissance.
