Boolean network
Boolean network consists of a set of Boolean variables whose state is determined by other variables in the network. They are a particular case of discrete dynamical networks, where time and states are discrete, i.e. they have a bijection onto an integer series. Boolean and elementary cellular automata are particular cases of Boolean networks, where the state of a variable is determined by its spatial neighbors.

Paramedics in the United Kingdom
United Kingdom the term paramedic is protected by law and only applies to ambulance practitioners who are able to achieve and maintain the strict standards established by a statutory body. The Health Professions Council (HPC) requires paramedics to enter a register before being allowed to work autonomously. It sets the profession's standards of proficiency and expects registrants to work by codes of ethics, conduct and performance.
