Linear dichroism Linear dichroism (LD) is a spectroscopic technique that is primarily used to study the functionality and structure of molecules. LD can be defined as the difference in absorption of light polarized parallel and perpendicular to an orientation axis . LD measurements are based on the interaction between matter and light and thus are a form of electromagnetic spectroscopy. Linear_dichroism
PLEX (programming language) PLEX (Programming Language for EXchanges) is a special-purpose, pseudo-parallel and event-driven real-time programming language. Dedicated for AXE telephone exchanges, it was developed by Göran Hemdahl at Ericsson. Originally designed in the 1970s, it has been continuously evolving since then. The language has two variantsPlex-C used for AXE Central Processors (CP) and Plex-M used for Extension Module Regional Processors (EMRP). PLEX_(programming_language)
Academic Programs in Acoustics This page offers a partial list of academic institutions that offer significant exposure to the science of acoustics. Because acoustics is a broad, multi-disciplinary field, many institutions offer acoustics courses through various other departments, such as physics, architecture, or a particular discipline of engineering. A few institutions, however, have departments dedicated exclusively to acoustics. Academic_Programs_in_Acoustics
