On a Sensual Note
On a Sensual Note (OASN) is American University's premier a cappella group. Founded in the fall of 1996 by Jay Criscuolo and Jay Rao, the all-male group was formed out of the founding members' desire to participate in the time-honored tradition of collegiate a cappella. Seeing that AU lacked any semblance of an a cappella scene, Criscuolo and Rao set to work recruiting other musically inclined individuals, and the Sensual Notes were born.
